夏季佩尔助学金

佩尔助学金 eligible students can receive up to 150% of their scheduled Pell award 每年. What does this mean for you? If you were a Pell eligible student in fall and/or spring, you may qualify for a 佩尔助学金 for 夏天 too!

资格

To be eligible for a 夏天 佩尔助学金, you must:

• Have completed a FAFSA for that academic year (i.e., 2022-23 FAFSA for 夏天 2023)
• Be 佩尔助学金 eligible
• Enroll in 夏天 classes before you apply for aid
• In most cases, there is a requirement to enroll at least half-time (6 units)
• Be meeting Satisfactory 学术的进步 (SAP)
• Have lifetime 佩尔助学金 eligibility remaining

Important facts to note:

• 佩尔助学金 al一个 is not enough to cover the full cost of attending classes in the 夏天.
• Eligible students may receive up to three Pell awards in 一个 academic year.
• The maximum timeframe that students may receive Federal 佩尔助学金 is the equivalent of twelve full-time semesters, or 6 years; 一个 full-time semester of Pell equals 50%.

Pell Lifetime 资格 Used (LEU)

Receiving Pell during the 夏天 will count towards your Pell LEU. 确保你是 only taking the classes needed for graduation to maximize your 佩尔助学金.

Minimum 信贷s for 夏季佩尔助学金

• If you enrolled full-time (12+ credits) and received the full-time 佩尔助学金 amount for fall and spring, you must enroll at least half-time (6+ credits) in 夏天 classes to receive a 夏天 佩尔助学金.
• If you enrolled part-time in fall or spring, there is no minimum credit requirement to receive a 夏天 佩尔助学金 (unless required by your EFC). You can use the remainder of your annual 佩尔助学金 amount during 夏天 with no minimum credit requirement. 

佩尔助学金 Amount Depends on Enrollment

Your 夏天 佩尔助学金 amount will depend on the number of credits you are registered in, as well as your Pell Lifetime 资格 Units (LEU).

The 佩尔助学金 amount will be adjusted just prior to the release (disbursement) of your aid based on your enrollment level. Enrollment levels are defined in the following 方式:

• 12+ credits = 100% of the semester 佩尔助学金 amount
• 9-11 credits = 75% of the semester 佩尔助学金 amount
• 6-8 credits = 50% of the semester 佩尔助学金 amount
